'Lucky Gate of Llanddwyn' art print

I saw this photograph online taken by Paul Andrew who posted it on the Facebook group 'The Gate Appreciation Society'. It really inspired me to paint the scene and to visit Anglesey in Wales.
I love the rustic design of the gate and especially the rust leaking out from one of the bolts! I really enjoyed painting this one, even though it was on the easel for ages. I lost myself completely doing all the details and really went with the creative flow. I am beginning to feel more confident and relaxed when I am painting.

All my original paintings are on canvas board or box frame. I use mainly Windsor and Newton acrylic paint. Each original is varnished in either a matte or gloss varnish. I usually use brushes and a pallet knife.

All of our prints are made to order therefore delivery will take between 7-14 days.
