I took this photo a couple of years ago when we went to Elounda, Crete in the spring. I could not believe the transformation from when I had visited at the end of summer the year before where the mountains looked very dry, brown and dusty. This time the mountains were green! and the flowers were everywhere. I couldn't resist painting from this photo as I wanted to showcase a non-typical Greek scene, including the slightly stormy day. I hope you feel like you were on the walk with me when you look at this painting.

All my original paintings are on canvas board or box frame. I use mainly Windsor and Newton acrylic paint. Each original is varnished in either a matte or gloss varnish. I usually use brushes and a pallet knife.

All of our prints are made to order therefore delivery will take between 7-14 days.
